I love the day each year when the Colorado State community stacks cans of food around the Oval in the largest food drive in Northern Colorado.

The the Mother Circle/Attachment parenting group of families and mothers here in Fort Collins. They provide support, encouragment, play groups, education and friendship! Powerful mama's for a better tomorrow!

I love when the CSU foootball team runs out of the tunnel, through the smoke, right behind Cam the Ram and the flag bearers. It is a moment of Green and Gold fervor that stays with you forever.

It snows in the summer (Cottonwoods), you can play golf in the winter, cycling year round, the collegiate nationals road race, micro brews, poudre fly fishing, cute college girls, interesting retired folks, a place you can put down roots and enjoy life., and of course the town pump.

The Farm at Lee Martinez Park!!! We LOVE farmer Mary and the staff at the farm. We are greatful to the City of FC to provide this service to our children!

Clothes Pony/Dadelion Toys is the best parenting store in Fort Collins! They have the best wooden toys, imaginative toys, chilrens clothing and book selection. The only place in town for a great selection of baby slings, wraps and carriers. And a Nursing friendly store!

The great Holy Family parish Fiesta in the summer --music, dancing, food(!), community-- there is a vibrant Latino community in Fort Collins, everyone--all are welcome, first weekend of August!!

My three year says... she loves the playground in City Park, and she wnts to know (already) when the pool will open!

They let the dogs come swim on the lasts days of the outdoor pool each year... and it's a fundraiser for larimer Humane

I love that cafes like Ardour and places like Avo's have toys for the kids to enjoy themselves too. This is a family-friendly town.

THE best thing about Fort Collins is the Swetsville Zoo! We bring all of our out-of-town guests there -- it is restful, amusing, charming, and free (but so inspiring you will want to chip in and donate!)

Why, the Little Shop of Physics, of course! This one-of-a-kind program brings science and fun to people all over the world (really!) and it is right here at CSU! The public open house in February is one of the best events all year!

Crossroads Safehouse. Dedicated staff and volunteers in a nationally recognized anti-domestic violence program. And the great community support that it has!

Ft. Collins has its own public access television station, through Comcast cable channel 22. It's on 24 hours a day. The public is invited to post announcements, display art, films, speeches, panel discussions, and more.

I love that you see people of all shapes, sizes and ages on bikes. And every possible form of bike on on the road here - everything from fat-tired cruisers with handlebar baskets to off-the-charts expensive road bikes. We not a community of bike snobs!

Fort Collins is populated with many interesting people who are doing innovative projects from cancer research, authors, high-tech product development, manufacturing innovation, and so much more. With a citizenry that includes college graduates totaling over 42%, that stimulates a lot of innovation.

I love the entrepreneurial spirit of the small business owners in Old Town. I love Treetop Studio and the yoga there, then Cambric Tea Lattes at the Bean Cycle.

This new scrapbooking store that I've discovered called Capture! It has beautiful scrapbooking supplies, very friendly people working there and a nice, open workroom that's available to use!

As soon as spring breaks, area musicians appear on Old Town Square to play their own brand of music. It's special when students play in quartets and trios!
